			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Valerie and I had a chance to sneak away to <a href="http://visitpuertovallarta.com/" target="_blank">Puerto Vallarta</a>, Mexico at the end of September.  It was a last minute idea, a chance to get away from my day job at <a href="http://www.metafore.ca" target="_blank">Metafore</a> and our busy lives running <a href="http://www.pastimesonline.ca/" target="_blank">PastimesOnline.ca</a> as well as our other <a href="http://about.pastimesonline.ca/" target="_blank">online ventures</a>.  It was exactly what we needed as we spent the time relaxing by the pool, walking the beaches every evening and exploring the new and old part of the city.  It&#8217;s been 8 years since we&#8217;ve last visited Puerto Vallarta, so I was happy to bring along my camera to document all the new (and somewhat familiar) sites PV has to offer. <p><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ondi_Timoner" target="_blank">Ondi Timoner&#8217;s</a> documentary chronicles a decade in the life of Internet pioneer <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Harris_(internet)" target="_blank">Josh Harris</a>, who instigated an &#8220;artificial society&#8221; experiment in which more than 100 artists lived under 24-hour surveillance in an underground compound in New York City. After FEMA broke up the project, Harris turned the cameras on himself and his girlfriend. Timoner&#8217;s provocative film (winner of the Grand Jury Prize: Documentary at Sundance) includes clips from Harris&#8217;s projects as well as her own original footage.</p>
